Our Mission

The mission of the trail committee is to foster growth, responsible use, and effective maintenance and management of the trail system. 

The Paiute ATV Trail is an extensive off road vehicle trail system managed cooperatively by the Trail Committee, The National Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management.   The system operates on limited federal and state support, much of the maintenance and development of the trail is done via donations and fundraising efforts of the Paiute ATV Trail Committee. 

Please obtain a map and travel only where permitted.  Resist the urge to pioneer a new trail.  
Avoid running over vegetation, including young trees shrubs and grasses.  
Improve the trails by staying off them when they are soft and wet.  
Use your head.  Wear a helmet and other protective gear.  Stupid Hurts.  
 

Treat others with respect.  Motorized users should yield to non-motorized users.  
Eliminate trash.  If you pack it in pack it out.      
Tread lightly!  Leave no trace you were there.   
Respect others property.  Leave gate as you found them.  Obey all closure and trails signs.  
Avoid harassment of wildlife and livestock.  
If you enjoy the trail, contribute to it's maintenance and upkeep.  
Leave it better that you found it.
